Wwoofing at Black Sheep Farm
Experiencing the bush at our farm
Wwoofing at Black Sheep Farm
If you like the great outdoors and enjoy physical work, we can offer beautiful surroundings near a subtropical rainforest. (Nightcap National Park) During the last 27 years we have converted barren farmland into a paradise of trees, wildlife, birds and native species. We also grow fruit trees, have a large vegetable garden and are always planting trees. Our main occupation is running the Black Sheep Farm Pottery, where we produce fine, brightly painted ceramics. (please see our home page) In exchange for 4.5 hours work; 8am to 1pm (morning tea break at 10.30) six days a week, we provide accommodation and bedding and meals plus other extras. Definitely non smokers only! We have a rustic cottage for Wwoofers, hidden in the bush. We take only 2 people together and want only Overseas Travelers, as we are looking for a cultural exchange. (German is spoken) The work mainly consists of planting trees, weeding and general land maintenance. This includes mowing, brushcutting, clearing lantana and crofton weed etc. In the afternoons you may want to go for a rainforest walk or explore the creek If you are interested please contact Mac or Suzanne McGauley at Ph: 02-66891095 E-mail: blackmac@blacksheepfarm.com.au
